Registration
Upon successful completion of this course provides attendees with the following:
1) Economic Development Certificate from Fresno State
2) Credits to be applied toward professional certification by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC)
3) Fulfilled prerequisite to attend the Advanced Institute for Economic Development
The Economic Development Certificate Program at Fresno State is a 4-day course and each participant is required to attend all modules of the course in order to receive a certificate from Fresno State and completion credit for the IEDC program and Advanced Institute.
Registration Fee
Registration fee is $900 for CALED members (You must be the listed member in CALED), and $1,000 for non-CALED members (Includes a one-year Associate Membership in CALED).
Payment of the fee is required in advance and includes tuition, instructional materials, parking, lunches, refreshments each day during the week.
Payments are due by 2 weeks before the program start date.
Refunds
If a participant must cancel his/her registration, the registration tuition will be returned provided cancellation is made two weeks prior to start date of program. After that, no registration tuition will be refunded.
There will be a $100 administrative fee should a refund be requested.
A registered attendee, who does not submit a written cancellation or attend the event is considered a No-Show, and is not eligible for a refund.
Fresno State reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the University cancels the program, the University is not responsible for any related costs, charges or expenses. The University will, however, refund your registration tuition.
*Request for refund 2 weeks before the program start date will be partially refunded.
Materials
Course materials for the program will be provided to each participant during the training.
Dress Code
The dress code for the program is business casual.
Attendance Policy
Participants are required to attend all the sessions and sign an attendance sheet for each class in order to receive the certificate of completion
